Our goal is for online ordering from Nanette’s to be as simple, satisfying, and trouble-free as possible. We ask that you carefully read our terms and conditions in order to avoid any misunderstanding.


Shipping Policies


            We provide free shipping for any order of $50 or more. Some “special order” items such as furniture may be excluded.


            We ship by UPS, Priority Mail, First-Class Mail, or Book Rate (Media Mail), depending on the customer’s choice. If you so indicate, we will choose the most efficient method for your particular shipment. We prefer to send any order over $50 by UPS for insurance purposes. The customer should remember that the delivery time for book-rate shipments is highly unpredictable.


            Customers needing expedited shipping should contact us and we will be glad to accommodate.


            We charge only the actual cost that the shipper charges us. WE DO NOT CHARGE A HANDLING FEE. It is impossible for us to know the exact shipping charge before the shipment is packaged and weighed. The shipping charge in our catalog, therefore, is only a rough estimate. Your actual charge may be less than the amount in our catalog. We will never charge you more than the estimate found in our catalog, even if the shipper’s charge to us exceeds that amount.




            A 4% state tax must be added to the cost of products shipped to locations within the state of Alabama. An additional 1.5% tax must be added to anything shipped to a location in Lauderdale County. The state of Alabama does not allow tax exemptions for churches.


Return Policy


            We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchases from Nanette’s. You may return for refund any product with which you are unhappy. If you return a product because it is defective or because of our error, we will pay the cost of return shipping. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.


            Exception: We cannot give a refund for a non-defective product that is no longer in its original condition and cannot be sold as new.           

            Please contact us for return authorization. When you return your merchandise, include your invoice along with a note explaining your reason for returning it.


            “Special Order” items may be subject to a restocking fee.




            In the event that we do not have an item in stock, we will order it from our supplier and ship it to you as soon as possible. If you have ordered other items that we have in stock, we will usually wait until we receive the missing item and then ship everything together. This decreases your shipping cost. We will notify you of any backordered items, and if you want us to ship the in-stock items immediately, just let us know and we will comply with your wishes.
